Astrology
From the point of yoga, astrology is both a science and a high spiritual art. At first glance, it is a map of the heavens at the time and place of a person’s birth, revealing simple personality characteristics. Essentially however, astrology is a spiritual path leading to the development of consciousness. Interpretation of one’s astrological chart calculated for a person’s date, time and place of birth, reveals a detailed portrait of an individual’s relationship to the world. Its various components reveal who we are, what we have to offer, how we offer it, with whom we are most likely to share our talents, abilities and love, and so much more. Private class only.
Mindful living
Mindful Living means to dwell deeply in the present moment, to be aware of what is going on within and around us. Patanjali states in Sutra 1.33, mindfulness is “cultivating friendliness toward the happy, compassion for the unhappy, delight in the virtuous, and indifference toward the wicked” in thought, word and deed; not only to others but to oneself as well. Most of all, it has to do with being in touch with ourselves: our body, our mind and our spirit. Mindful Living classes approach general health, nutrition and daily wellness to better our day-to-day living. Private class or build your own group.
